I’m watching BBC Match of the Day 2, which is about the English Premier League. The studio team consists of two Irishmen, Mark Lawrenson and Colin Murray, and Welshman Robbie Savage.
Where is the English representation? Why aren’t the guys mentioned above commentating on football in their own countries? If they were, it would create jobs for the growing army of England’s unemployed.
Mark Lawrenson has always been a bit harsh on the English, Robbie Savage is a thug, and Colin Murray is barely comprehensible. Surely the BBC can find some English people for the studio?
Sorry, I forgot, they aren’t keen on the English. They have Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish sports pages on their website, but no English sports page.
