I was watching the Leveson Inquiry today and couldn’t help but notice Rebekah Brooks looked very uncomfortable under questioning and how weak her arguments were. She made a claim that she had permission from Mr and Mrs Gordon Brown to run a story about their son who was ill . They later released a statement to say no such permission had been granted.
Whatever the outcome of the inquiry, Mrs Brooks’ evidence will come under a lot of scrutiny. I for one have doubts about its validity, but it will be up to Lord Leveson to decide if she was telling the truth or not.
